Chen Institute Workshop on Decision Making and Free Will
December 1, 2018
11:00 am — 5:00 pm
Beckman Institute Auditorium
This workshop will explore many aspects of decision making, in both humans and animals, and examine the concept of free will. The workshop will consist of a number of short talks ending with a Q&A panel session. Attendees are invited to carry on the conversation at a reception immediately following the workshop.
The Chen Institute at Caltech hopes that these workshops will introduce non-neuroscientists to some of the challenging problems facing our understanding of brain function, as well as to bring them up to date on the state-of-the-art of knowledge in various sub-fields of neuroscience.
Speakers include: Richard Andersen, David Anderson, Colin Camerer, Rosa Cao (Stanford), Annie Duke (Author), Anton Kapustin, Dean Mobbs, John O'Doherty, Shin Shimojo, Kate Wassum (UCLA)
