John O'Doherty
Fletcher Jones Professor of Decision Neuroscience
Researchers in O'Doherty's group study how we learn from experience, and how we try to make choices that maximize benefits and minimize danger. They investigate the brain systems involved in making decisions under uncertainty, representing the value of stimuli in the world, learning to predict future rewards, and controlling behaviors to obtain rewards.
