Workshops

To engage the larger Caltech community in the excitement of contemporary neuroscience and to enlarge the breadth of neuroscience research on campus, the Tianqiao and Chrissy Chen Institute for Neuroscience at Caltech has instituted a series of Chen Institute Workshops.  These ongoing workshops are designed to introduce non-neuroscientists to some of the challenging problems facing our understanding of brain function, as well as to bring them up to date on the state-of-the-art of knowledge and methods in different subfields of neuroscience. The hope is that these workshops may spark interest among Caltech faculty and trainees who have not previously participated in neuroscience research, and catalyze new ideas for collaborative studies that span different disciplines across Caltech.
