Tianshu (Anya) Ouyang is interested in human decision making, reinforcement learning and their neural underpinnings. She is currently a senior at Johns Hopkins University studying neuroscience and mathematics. At Hopkins, she worked with Dr. Ernst Niebur on value-based decision making using human intracranial EEG data, and with Dr. Chris Honey on semantic memory. Beyond research, Anya enjoys tackling math proofs and discussing the intersection of philosophy and cognition with friends. She also has a deep appreciation for a wide range of music and music theory.
