Ruorong earned her B.S. in Applied Mathematics and Neuroscience from Emory University. She has previously investigated somatosensory processing in health and disease, and explored visual modeling in rodents. These experiences fueled her curiosity about the brain. She aims to integrate computational and experimental tools in neuroscience, with the hope of contributing to research that ultimately benefits people.
