Mingkun Wu
Mingkun is a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Guttman Lab at Caltech. His research centers on RNA-protein interactions, with a focus on developing innovative methods that provide critical spatial and temporal resolution of these interactions. He is particularly interested in understanding how RNA-protein complexes function in the nervous system and how their dysregulation contributes to neurodegenerative disorders. Mingkunreceived his Ph.D. in Molecular Genetics from the University of Toronto, where he studied the regulation of alternative splicing under the supervision of Professor Ben Blencowe. His PhD work bridges molecular biology and technology development to address fundamental questions in RNA biology in the context of neurological disease.
