Maulik is a Postdoctoral Fellow in the laboratory of Long Cai at Caltech. He received his Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of Chicago in the laboratory of Yamuna Krishnan, where he developed fluorescent DNA nanodevices for quantitative imaging of biochemistry in living systems. At Caltech, he develops single-cell spatial genomics technologies to map gene expression and cellular states within intact tissues.
