Chih-Yi (Ethan) Chen
Chih-Yi (Ethan) Chen's research interests center on using computational models, particularly reinforcement learning frameworks, to investigate the information processing underlying human decision-making and higher-level cognition, with behavioral and neuroscientific data as model constraints. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics, with a minor in Computer Science, from National Chengchi University, and a Master of Science in Brain and Mind Sciences from National Taiwan University. His research experience primarily involves designing and coding cognitive experiments, analyzing fMRI data, and developing computational models. Outside of research, Chih-Yi enjoys alternative rock music and previously played drums and guitar, though he now spends more time at the gym and practicing Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.
