Thomas's research is focused on the discovery of the neural basis driving human economic decision-making. Thomas received his bachelor's degree in finance from Arizona State University, followed by a stint as a structured credit trader at Goldman Sachs. Thomas is most focused on understanding how humans make decisions when faced with risk and ambiguity. He hopes to use these insights to inform policy and political decisions. In his free time, Thomas enjoys playing video games, political discussions, film (both making and consuming), and the NBA!
