Sneha Aenugu
Sneha's research interests lie in the investigation of the neural basis of human decision-making and behavior. She received her bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from IIT Madras, followed by a stint in the AI industry developing an automated driver assistance technology. Subsequently, she pursued a master's in computer science from UMass Amherst, focusing on reinforcement learning and cognitive psychology. She is now eager to explore the social sciences of economics, political science, and philosophy to aid in her research of decision-making. She hopes to use these insights to study the human brain and to create sustainable artificial intelligence.
Sneha was a speaker for the Caltech Series Science Journeys. In this series Caltech graduate students and postdoctoral scholars share their research to inspire scientific curiosity. You can see her talk here.
