Panagiota Loizidou
Panagiota is curious about how all aspects of an experience combine to form a memory to be retained or forgotten. She received a master's in Neuroscience from the Ecole Normale Supérieure in Paris while working on understanding the role of sleep stages on emotional memory consolidation at the lab of Dr. Gabrielle Girardeau. She graduated from the University of Lyon with a Bachelor in Social and Human Sciences and from UCLA Extension with a Diploma in General Sciences. During her time at UCLA, she did research in brain-computer interfaces, linguistics, and forensic neuroscience. She chose neuroscience, hoping to always find it as challenging and meaningful as she does now.
She exercises, cooks, eats, dances, sings while driving, and goes to the beach.
