Noah is a Junior at Emory University, pursuing a double major in Neuroscience & Behavioral Biology and Computer Science. Noah is interested in research at the intersection of computer science and cognitive neuroscience that explore the intricacies of memory, emotion, and consciousness. Specifically, he aims to conduct research that combines an understanding of neural circuitry with advances in extended reality technologies to develop tools that will monitor and augment the cognitive and affective deficits that arise in disorders of the mind. Noah is currently an NIH-funded IMSD Scholar and research assistant in the Epilepsy and Systems Neuroscience Laboratory - Pedersen/Drane Lab where he works to develop immersive neuropsychological experiments. Noah hopes to pursue a Ph.D. in Cognitive Neuroscience focusing on the development of modern immersive tools to understand affect and cognition.
