Isa is a rising junior at Santa Clara University majoring in Physics with a minor in Biology. Her previous research experience encompasses working with laser induced breakdown spectroscopy, analyzing peaks in x-ray diffraction data, and conducting biophysics research studying the relationship between entropy and the folding of the green fluorescent protein. She has always had a strong interest in exploring the neuronal basis of human behavior with the intention of developing technologies that directly benefit individuals facing disabilities, ailments, or generally creating a greater understanding of the biological world. Isa is excited to pursue a new area of research in the computational analysis of neural and behavioral data. Her aim is to use her research skills to pursue a Ph.d. in Biophysics or Neuroscience. In her free time, she enjoys exploring the outdoors and photography.
