Haoru Li
Chen Graduate Fellow
Haoru's overarching research goal is to uncover the fundamental principles of sensory processing, elucidating the connection between neuronal population activity and animal behavior. Haoru received his Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences from the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC). During his time as a visiting undergraduate research fellow in Prof. Aravi Samuel's lab at Harvard, he investigated the encoding patterns of a population of dopaminergic neurons in the olfactory system of Drosophila larvae. He aims to understand how sensations and behaviors emerge from complex neuronal connectivity.
