Aman Bhargava
Aman's research centers on understanding how neurons cooperate to form efficient and effective computational systems. He hopes to add to the two-way street connecting neuroscience and artificial intelligence. Aman received his BASc in Engineering Science from the University of Toronto in 2022, specializing in machine learning and control theory. He has worked on brain-computer interface and biosignal processing research in the laboratory of Steve Mann at the University of Toronto, in silico protein engineering via deep learning in Turaga Lab at HHMI's Janelia Research Campus, and most recently on a novel RL-based methodology for discovering learning rules in neural networks in Milad Lankarany's group at the Krembil Research Institute.
