2022 DataSAI for Neuroscience Summer School

The inaugural Chen Institute Data Science and AI (DataSAI) for Neuroscience Summer School took place July 5 - 15, 2022 at the historic Seeley Mudd estate in San Marino. Over the nine days, Caltech neuroscience graduate students and postdocs learned cutting-edge computational methods in data science and machine learning. Links to lecture recordings and course materials are available for each day.

Day 1, Tuesday, July 5, 2022: Computational basics, including dimensionality reduction, overfitting, regularization and dataset engineering
